The children of Maroua took advantage of the meeting to have fun and learn with a rich and varied program all day long. Composed mainly of skill games and embellished by dynamic animators, the "Maroua s'amuse" meeting offered fun challenges and entertainment that left no one indifferent.

The mayor of Maroua
The Mayor of Maroua, Mr Sali BABANI, made a speech to thank the promoters of the project.
This meeting, which took place at the end of the school year, is not only a festive moment offered to children, where parents meet and rub shoulders with teachers. It is also a good opportunity to organize activities, meet the young people of the city and make new friends.

Promoter's speech
The promoter underlined in his speech his great joy to contribute to this great adventure. But this would not have been possible without the great team that worked for the success of this project. He thanked the animators and all the speakers, for having offered the opportunity to the young people of Maroua to experience this convivial event.

Delivery of Gifts
Monday, July 25, 2022, in the evening, the committee of "Maroua s'amuse" represented by its president, its vice president, and its treasurer, in the presence of the animators and the coordinators, awarded the prizes to the winners.
PEDAGOGICAL OBJECTIVES OF THE MEETING
Being a child is simple: the field of possibilities is immense, everything has to be created.
And complicated at the same time: thinking for yourself, making and expressing your choices, becoming yourself and growing.
What if you taught the children to get to know each other better?
The meeting "Maroua s'amuse" offers this animation program, through information, readings, games, fun-pedagogical activities and creations around the child, his identity, his rights and his relations with the others.

PEDAGOGICAL OBJECTIVES OF THE MEETING

Use body expression to list and select the character traits of each person in order to better discover, tame and accept themselves to define their identity

Understand and know the cultural heritage in Cameroon, especially in the city of Maroua

Create and organize a situation: with the accident/gestures card game, the children are faced with mutual aid situations. This game is intended as a vehicle for sharing between the children's group and the facilitator around the rules and values of a Society.

Through the reading materials, discover with a tolerant look the different facets of childhood.
To arrive at the final activity: stage a one-of-a-kind show to celebrate rights and duties.
